| Tatsu and Tetsu paintings |

So yeah let's start with Tetsu. Tetsu is painted with black ink (+ b/w crayons) and in similar style to Atsushi because Tetsu is his son. He's also located sort of in front of Atsushi and they both make my working room pretty ^o^ The wooden frame for Tetsu was originally golden and looking quite cheap so I painted it black and ordered a thin glass plane. So of course it reflects stuff and you can see my hands and camera, which are, of course, not painted.

Now, the Tatsurou from my living room *-*
First of all, look at ( the frame. )

I also have other stuff on the walls but it qualifies for another entry.
I'm ending this with two miniatures (3 x 4 cm):( Read more... ) |

| Atsushi x 4 plus jewelry talk |

Did you know: In MUCC's D.O.G. (which is an awesomely awesome song <3) instead of 'guuhatsuji' Astarise hears 'atsushi'? Subliminal message much, Tatsurou? >3
Uhm, I wrote the above because there are Atsushis in this post. First of all, let me present you my biggest painting ever - 40 x 50 cm. Considering I'm rather a miniaturist (usually nothing above A5 format) this is quite an accomplishment. It's also the first painting I've framed and hung on a wall. Creating 3 more paintings awaits me soon though *sigh* (2 per room). This Atsushi is actually the most noticeable thing when one opens the door to my working room ^o^
 Beautiful frame, isn't it? No, scratch that, it's fucking beautiful. I'm so in love with the design I bought 2. And do you know where? In IKEA. Quite a shock because their things are usually awfully minimalistic o_o;
Kyyaaa but enough about the frame ^^;; I love the pose he has in the original photo. So sophisticated and slightly pensive, melancholic yet haughty and powerful *~* Of course with an expression like that AND Atsushi being particularly hard to paint, I failed completely at it. My version is definitely more haughty and even smirking slightly ._.; But nonetheless I like the result, I think it looks good in the frame. Anything looks good in that frame, it's utter perfection ;-; (<- tears of rapture)
More detailed pictures under the cut -> ( My sister says he looks like Adam Mickiewicz and I think she's bit right ._. )
Also, I like that pose so much I painted it as a miniature brooch. And dramatically failed at the expression again. I don't think the result has much Atsushiness but I think it's cool nevertheless *_*. 3 more miniatures (3 x 4 cm) of Atsushi and a lot of general talking about jewelry is next. ( Read more... )
Look, a group picture XD
Not much ne? Because I've lost some T_T I need to work on my collection, yes. ( some earlier works ) |

| Fanarts |

So basically this is all I've painted/drawn since this. Which is almost a year worth of stuff. But as usual, I don't draw enough^^; Also, a serious statement is needed here: fanarts, drawings and paintings (excluding miniatures) are NOT my thing. Und that is because~ ( reason ) So I'm just making these for fun and don't call myself a fanartist.
Anyway, a week ago I found a cool jp MUCC fanarts site which inspired me to scan some of my old stuff and paint some new. About a half of those I made this week XD
So first is obviously my Muse <3
( Monokuro no Tatsurou - 6 pics )( Color Tatsurou - 2(3) pics )( Coffee-sepia Tatsurou - 2 pics )
*gasp* and now some things other than Tatsurou x_X( 4 pics )( And one thing which isn't even jrock x_X )
Random: is it possible for a scanner to lose its quality from not being used at all for a year? Because I have a feeling mine has ._. |
