| ムック and メリー corsets |

I'm back~! But before writing a proper report (omgitwassogreatandsofulloftetsuomgomg), I'm going to post something I've been planning since April o_O; Those are basically two outfits the main parts of which are corsets. They are intentionally quite similar in style~
Let's start with the one I made for ムック. I had quite a problem with the design because my style is definitely not like a typical MUCCer's. So one night I got this idea about blending the two styles together and naming the outcome 'Victorian MUCCer', as silly as it sounds. Now when I think about it, there isn't really much of 'MUCC' style in it, haha. But let's ignore that.

The initial excuse for this photoshoot wa supposed to be showing off one of the corsets I made in the previous post but then I thought I could make it into something more, like an Autumn Collection *_* Because this obviously is a spring and this a sumer one.
Well this one is not entirely new, the top hat and blouse are quite old (the blouse is the first thing I've ever sewn. It's from 2004. An antique XD)...
Man, I'm weird. When I think about it, I made the entire outfit AND all the accessories. Except the shoes x_X

I feel so good when I'm dressed like this. Especially with draped overskirts. I wear them even with slightly more casual, everyday clothes. Then again, what I consider casual is... well, not casual at all XD |

Haaa *raises hand meekly* I'm not dead yet.
In fact I'm alive and very much so. During my ah, online absence I was up to many evil things, mwahah. One of them would be corsetry because I'm SO into corsetry now *o*
I made the steel busk thingy for one corset in mind but of course got carried away and now I have four completed, a few that are work in progress and 4365367039 projects planned. It's so cool how making them becomes easier and easier. It's also makes me feel ambitious because corsets are advanced sewing. I mean, anyone could sew a skirt, pfft. But a real, fully metal boned corset? Sugee~
Of course I'm aware that mine are so far very simple. I have plans for making more sophisticated patterns, s-lined and such.
Um and being a person who hates patterns as such (I mean, ready-made patterns with all the measurements handed like on a tray) and abhors tutorials, all the patterns for them I drafted myself. And yes, each corset has a different one.
Here's an example of how such process looks like: ( I hate numbers and can't count :D )
So now, the four finished corsets. Each of them is black of course ^.^
Ah and they're going to be modeled on a makeshift mannequin (made from a tshirt, two pillows, and some shirts to stuff it here and there) which I named Hatsuko. Please bear in mind that Hatsuko's measurements are slightly different from my own and because they were all made to fit me, they look immensely better on me, ha.

I'll start with what I think is the best thing I've ever sewn. It's so perfect it surprises me @_@ It took me some time to make it, most of which for making the pattern.
Anyway, it's a black underbust corset. I've always wanted to have one like this XD ( Korusetto! )
Next is a skirt which I think is in Gothic-Punk style, but this might be only me XP The idea for it came to me when I was falling asleep and I quickly made it the next day ^^

And this is one of 3 t-shirts I own (I really dislike t-shirts as such). It was originally plain but I stenciled something special on it.
I always say I'm a fan of Tatsurou's drawings. But for this one I chose Miya's. Because the cuteness of it kills me. Miya's drawing style is great because it looks like a little kid's XD I copied his drawing of a giraffe. ( Miya Kirin! )
So when we put all things together, it looks ( like this )

I don't think I posted enough pictures of the corset I made for the cosplay :/ It has too many details. ( 2 pictures )
This skirt is in Gosurori style but not shape. I think it's cool.( Sukaato2! )

| Beautifools Fest 03 Tatsurou Cosplay~ |

Dude! There's this MUCC cosplay contest and I'm SO participating! XD
Uh, it's kind of unusual for me, because as a rule I don't take part in contests but I simply couldn't resist here. Especially because MUCC members will actually be the judges. I don't really intend to win, because I think every Asian person would make a better Tatsurou cosplayer than me ^^;
Actually the news of the contest simply prompted me to make the Beautifool's Fest 03 cosplay, one I've been planning to do for a long time.
But first, I recosplayed Waga, Arubeki Basho Tatsurou. With better makeup ^^; ( here )
So now, the BFF03! Ah how I love Tatsurou's outfit there <3! I think it's one of the most revealing things I've seen him wearing. Eh, it's also one of the most revealing things I'm wearing so I don't feel comfortable ne ._.
Boo.
ZOMG! Yes, I dyed my hair! But it's a washable shampoo and it's only for the cosplay so the color should disappear in a few days.
Ok, so first let me write a bit about the details because I made the whole outfit myself, of course. Cosplay thing away, I made a bloody complicated corset x_X!( blabla )

Some examples of how I use eyelets. Actually I have made many more items but I don't feel like posting pictures of them all because it's a tedious job o_O;
So there are some clothes I altered, some bags and some accessories. I'm hopelessly in love with eyelets and have 703897503 projects in my head @_@
